Navan boys play part in big leinster win

Six players from Navan played big parts in helping Leinster carve out a massive 60-3 victory over Ulster in a Youths inter-provincial at Balreask Old this afternoon.

Shane Walshe, Ben McEntagart, Conor Nash, Conor Hand and Conor Farrell all started for their province with Christian Byrne coming on as a second-half substitute.

McEntagart, Walshe and Byrne all contributed to Leinster's big score with a try apiece. Byrne also slotted over two excellent conversions.

The other Leinster tries were scored by Peter Howard (Cill Dara) who got two, Chris Maloney (Birr), who also bagged two, Darragh Sweeney (Malahide), Greg McGrath (Wexford Wanderers) and Ben Devlin (Kilkenny).

Ciaran Frawley (Skerries) also scored from three conversions before he was replaced by the impressive Byrne.
