Meath woman scores try at Thomond Park

Meath woman Marie Louise Reilly scored a try for Leinster yesterday at Thomond Park in the Women’s Interprovincial Series as the visitors recorded a 21-6 victory over the hosts Munster.

This was Leinster’s third victory in the series and arrived a week after an impressive victory against Connacht at Ashbourne.

Last week Leinster swept aside the Connacht challenge by 36-0 while Munster also won last weekend by 15-7 against Ulster.

Leinster won the opening round of the series at the end of November when they defeated Ulster by 41-7 at Ravenhill while that weekend also saw Munster defeat Connacht by 37-17 at the Sportsgrounds.

Leinster made it three wins in-a-row with yesterday’s victory at the famous Thomond Park.

Today, Ulster will play Connacht at the Queens Arena.
