Reilly to lead Leinster in Thomond test
Marie Louise Reilly will be seeking to help Leinster to a hat-trick of victories when they take on Munster in the final round of Women's Inter-Provinical series at Thomond Park tomorrow, 1.0.
The Summerhill woman has been, as expected, named in the Leinster team to take on a Munster side who are the reigning champions. She will take up her customary position as a lock forward.
Leinster go into the game on the back of some excellent form. They defeated Connacht last week 36-0 after having already racked up a convincing 41-7 victory over Ulster.
Victory for Leinster tomorrow would be another big achievement for Reilly in her career especially as she is captain.
Reilly played a very significant role in helping Ireland clinch the Women's Six Nations last spring, playing in all of the games on the march to ultimate glory.
The Leinster team is: Vikki McGinn (Blackrock), Aine NiChatháin (Blackrock), Michelle Claffey (Blackrock), Jenny Murphy (OBRFC), Janice Daly Morrissey (OBRFC), Nora Stapleton (OBRFC), Tania Rosser (Blackrock); Fiona Coghlan (UL Bohs), Finnoula Gleeson (OBRFC), Ailis Egan (OBRFC), Orla Fitzsimons (St. Mary's), Marie Louise Reilly (OBRFC), Sophie Spence (OBRFC), Paula Fitzpatrick (St. Mary's), Sharon Lynch (OBRFC).
