Award for Toner

Moynalvey man Devin Toner has won the Leinster 'Player of the Month' award for his level of performances over September/October.
Toner, who has three senior international caps, played in all seven Leinster games during that period and earned praise from coach Joe Schmidt for his consistent standard of play.
In a recent interview former Leinster lock Malcolm O'Kelly suggested that the time had come for the six foot ten Meathman to step up to the mark and nail down a regular place on the Leinster and Irish teams. Toner was voted 'Player of the Month' by Leinster supporters.
