'Fight Night' set for Oldcastle

The second 'Fight Night' kick-boxing event will be staged in Oldcastle on Saturday 25th November . The event is organised by Sean O'Neill who is from Athboy and involved with O'Neill's Fitness, Oldcastle.  

It is expected there will be around 15 fights and one of those taking part include local man Ciaran Healy who will be aiming to win the Bantamweight title. Last year the same fighter won the Junior Flyweight belt at the same same venue. Since then he has won the European Championship underlining his talent in the sport.  

Healy was part of the successful Oldcastle GFC u-17 and minor teams. He is also on the Oldcastle United u-16 soccer side that is currently on top of their NECSL division with one game left. Doors open at the Oldcastle Cinema at 6.30. MC is Justin Burke.
