Meath fantasy football team selection

Our fantasy football competition has kicked off  with over 250 teams selected within the first week on www.meathchronicle.ie/fantasyfootball at the time of writing.

To enter, simply log on to – www.meathchronicle.ie/fantasyfootball -and follow the instructions. All rules and scoring procedures etc are displayed on that page.

When you’re selecting your team please click the save button at the last phase to confirm your team as some that have entered have not done this therefore we have no record of their team. Those who have selected a team can edit it twice before closing date of Friday 11th April.

If you haven’t received a confirmation email with your team listed please log onto www.meathchronicle.ie/fantasyfootball and select Edit Team at the bottom in order to confirm your team and still be in the competition.

Meanwhile, it’s good to see that the good football folk of Meath haven’t lost their collective sense of humour. Some of the team names are straight out of the top drawer. Our personal top five has to include the following:

- The Sons of Pitches

- The Muffin Men

- I Love Hurling

- The Black Card Brigade

- Hardy Bucks

If you haven't submitted a team you have until Friday 11th April to do so. Seriously great prizes to be won.
