Clubhouse opening scheduled for Athboy RFC
Athboy will be on duty in the Provincial Towns Seconds Cup this weekend when they travel to tackle Roscrea in the competition as they prepare for a couple of important weeks for officials and players.
The following weekend (Friday 21st Feb) they travel to Balreask Old for a McGee Cup game against Navan, but off the pitch they will also be busy.
Athboy Rugby Club are calling on all past and present members and friends of the club to come to the opening of the new clubroom on Sunday 2nd March at 2.30pm
The day will kick-off with the Athboy 2nd XV taking on Ratoath RFC at 12.30pm in the McGee Cup followed by games featuring the Under 9's and 11's at 2pm,
The official opening will take place at 2.30pm followed by Athboy on Edenderry in Division 2B of the Leinster J1 League.
There will be refreshments and a barbecue on the day,
