Young sports award for Eamonn Wallace

Ratoath AC's Eamonn Wallace was this evening celebrating his success at the Meath Sports awards in Trim. The Ratoath teenager scooped the young sportsperson of the year award at the sixth annual Meath Chronicle / Cusack Hotel Group annual presentations. The other two nominees in the category were Kiltale minor hurler Jack Regan and Parkvilla FC goalkeeper Ross Treacy. Wallace won the national u-19 100 metres and 200 metres titles and also featured for his local GAA club winning a MFC title and adult titles in the JFC and Tailteann Cup.
