Regan inspires Kiltale to u-21 HC

Jack Regan contributed a remarkable personal tally of 2-10 as he boosted Kiltale to a stunning 3-15 to 2-8 victory over hosts Trim in the u-21 HC final today. Victory in the u-21 final capped a remakable year for the Kiltale club as they had already won the SHC, JHC, MHC and A HL Div 3 as well as the intermediate Camogie title. The result of today's u-21 HC was never in doubt from an early stage as regan's scrambled goal boosted kiltale to an early 1-2 to 0-0 lead. Regan's second goal was a superb bullet into the top quarter as Kiltale led by 2-7 to 0-4 at the break. Trim did rally with two late goals from Colm McGrath, but they were mere consolations as Mark O'Sullivan contributed Kiltale's third goal in the easy win. In the u-21 B HC final curtain-raiser Dunderry and Blackhall Gaels/Drumree couldn't separated after extra-time, 4-11 to 2-17 and will have to do it all again, most likely in Trim next Sunday, 12.0.
