14-man Dunboyne beat longwood

Dunboyne survived the second-half dismissal of Cormac Hutton to score a 2-14 to 1-7 win over Longwood in tonight's delayed SHC fourth round encounter at Trim.

Such a comfortable win looked unlikely at half-time as the sides were level 1-4 to 0-7 at half-time with Anthony Healy netting for Longwood. However, previously unbeaten Longwood faltered in the second-half as 14 man Dunboyne pulled clear with goals from Barry Watters and Michael O'Grady.
