Bartley`s penalty rescues Botown

Bellurgan0

Botown1

IF Botown go on to snatch Meath & District Div 1 League promotion they will look back on this match as the day they used their `get out of jail` card as they secured their win with a last-gasp penalty from Paul Bartley.

The game was dominated by the windy conditions with Wayne Smith and Ronan Cooke going close before Thomas Conaty was fouled in the box. Bartley did the rest to wrap up victory. Paul Kavanagh made a crucial first-half save for Botown. Excellent for the winners were Conaty and Bartley.
