After making a less than perfect start to this Brenfer Youth League clash Kentstown Rovers came back to lead 2-1 at the interva,l but were caught out by the concession of a crucial third goal.
Swords Rovers netted the opener, but Andrew Kearney replied with two goals midway through the half. The first was scored when he got to the end of a Keith Walsh flick and he netted the second by rounding the`keeper and slotting home from a tight angle.
The home side equalised just after the break and grabbed a crucial third from a penalty.
Andrew Lynch had an effort rebound off the post but it was Swords who prevailed. Best for Kentstown were Kearney, Walsh and Patrick Dunne.

Dunshaughlin u-14s produced their best performance of the season to defeat Premier opponents and hosts Swords Rovers in this u-14 cup game.
Conor McGill, goalie Andrew Kiernan, Eimhin Kinsella and Oisin de Bhal were the standout players for the winners, but this was a fine performance.
Brendan Bowe opened the scoring after a fine through ball from Cillian Dervan and Gary Commons made the game safe with a long range second after good work by David Baggott.

Dunshaughlin worked very hard to take all three points from Clontarf in this NDSL u-10 league encounter. The home side missed an early penalty and Dunshaughlin took advantage with the lead goal from Colm O`Connor.
Andrew Jackson swapped goal stopping for goal scoring after the break when he was set-up by Conor Huijsdens for the winner while William McCarthy and Jean Kavanagh also excelled for Dunshaughlin.

There was plenty of end to end fare in this u-10 Drogheda & District Schoolboys League clash at Kells on Sunday.
Shane McDonnell bagged two goals for the home side with Craig McGivern also finding a way through the Boyne defence. At one stage in the second half Kells/Blackwater led 3-1 only to concede two late goals. Conor Murphy, Aaron Murphy, McDonnell and Ciaran Gaffney played well for the home side.
