MDL soccer focus - Clones advance

Clones Town had a convincing 4-0 home win over Dublin opposition Liffey Valley Rangers today with goals from Brian McDonald, Gary Macken, Gerard O'Callaghan and Stephen Smith.

They now face AUL side Sandyhill Celtic next Sunday who beat Duleek 1-0.

Rock Celtic's run in the FAI Junior Cup was ended when they lost out 1-2 after extra-time away to St Pauls Artane.

Woodview Celtic will play St Pauls in the Leinster Junior Cup next Sunday, and they go in to the match in confident mood following an emphatic 7-0 victory against relegation-threatened Ardee Celtic today.
