Meath v Louth is postponed - check other schedules

Snow overnight in the Navan area has covered the track at Proudstown and as a result the racing scheduled for today will not go ahead. Meath v Louth in the NFL Div 2 is also off and will be played tomorrow (Monday).

However, racing goes ahead at Limerick where the ground remains heavy with the first race scheduled for 2pm.

Also today, the North Kilkenny Ballyragget point-to-point has been cancelled today due to snow.

The Duhallow Dromahane point-to-point fixture will go ahead today as scheduled, the first race is at 1pm.

In England, Carlisle and Ffos Las have been cancelled.

All Meath GAA club games fixed for today and tomorrow (Monday) have been postponed.

The Kilmessan Grand Prix cycling that was scheduled for midday start from Dunsany has also been postponed.

The Meath ladies GAA Leinster MFC game against Wexford in Wexford has been postponed.

In other racing news, at Sha Tin this morning Doctor Geoff, formerly trained by Ger Lyons and a winner at Naas last year, finished sixth in the valuable Hong Kong Derby.
