Moynalty driver targeted a top 10 finish successfully

The ALMC hosted their annual motor rally today over three loops of three stages around the Rathmolyon, Longwood, Ballivor and Kildalkey areas with the overall title going to Jonathan Pringle and Paul Sheridan in a Ford Escort.

Earlier this morning Meath Chronicle sports editor Conall Collier spoke to some of the competitors including James Cassidy from Moynalty who said that he was looking for a top 10 finish.

The Moynalty man was accompanied by Roscommon woman Jane Collins in the passenger seat and they managed to take ninth place in a Ford Escort also.

Main results are listed.
