Dunboyne AC's Rory Kavanagh put in a storming performance to win the Ratoath 5k in wind and rain this morning.
Kavangh, who won the Tara 5k recently, achieved victory in Ratoath in a time of 16.02 with his club-mate Loughlin Campion in second place and Dunshaughlin AC's Ciaran O'Dwyer third.
Na Fianna's Mary Hanley was the first woman home in a time of 19.43. Just short of 300 athletes turned out for what was the second time successive year Ratoath staged the race.
