Flemenstar will re-appear in the Hennessy Gold Cup at Leopardstown next Saturday with jockey Andrew Lynch in fine form.

The Peter Casey-trained Flemenstar will tackle three miles again after been caught close home by Tidal Bay and First Lieutenant in the Lexus Chase last month.

The eight-year-old has options for Cheltenham in the Queen Mother Champion Chase, the Ryanair Chase and the Gold Cup.

Local jockey Barry Geraghty was in double form at Doncaster today when he won the opening two races.

Fairyhouse racecourse will hold an precautionary inspection at 8am tomorrow morning due to the adverse weather forecast. The track is currently raceable and the ground is being described as heavy.
