Navan O'Mahonys 1-7 Ratoath 0-9

Navan O'Mahonys upset the formbook when they claimed the MFC title at Pairc Tailteann tonight.

The Navan side got the better of a hard-working and talented Ratoath team and were ahead by 1-4 to 0-6 at the interval.

Ratoath edged ahead in the second-half, but O'Mahonys came back strong and regained the lead.

Team captain Alan Forde dedicated the victory to the memory of the late Paddy O'Brien who passed away a few short weeks ago.
