Gas Line could connect for Dunne

One Meath jockey in with a chance in today's Aintree showpiece is Robbie Dunne who has been based in England now for about seven years.

Dunne will be on board the Ian Williams-trained Gas Line Boy in the big race that is due off at 5.15pm and he will have a lot of support from racing enthusiasts in the Ratoath area.

Gas Line Boy and Dunne finished fifth last year behinf One For Arthur and previously Dunne partnered the Ratoath-trained Vic's Canvas (trained by Dermot McLoughlin) to third behing Rule The World in 2016.

Yesterday Dunne won the opener at Aintree with the Tom Lacey-trained Jester Jet.

Some 38 runners will now go to post in a little over three hours after Regal Encore and Walk In The Mill were ruled out this morning.
