Elliott off to a flyer on day three at Cheltenham

Longwood trainer Gordon Elliott is up and running on day three of the Cheltenham Festival as Shattered Love steamed up to win the first race, the JLT Novices Chase, with teenager Jack Kennedy on board.
The 4/1 shot pulled clear heading to the last and despite a blunder she did enough to get over and pull clear up the straight to become the first mare to win the race ahead of Teerefort and Benatar.
Shattered Love gave Elliott his fourth win of the Festival and the Summerhill man is now just one winner behind willie Mullins in the race for the leading trainers title at the prestigious festival.
