Four for Gordon Elliott at Navan

Four for Gordon Elliott today at Navan with Apples Jade taking the four-runner Lismullen Hurdle in which all the horses were trained in Meath.

Jack Kennedy was on board and the win completed a double that leter became a treble for trainer and jockey.

Apples Jade had the lead over the last and held off the challenge of the Gavin Cromwell-trained Jer's Girl with another Elliott runner, Flaxen Flare in third and Noel Meade's Monksland.

Elliott's Mengli Khan  won the Grade 3 For Auction Novice Hurdle and also won with Clarcam in the Fortria Chase.

The fourth Elliott winner arrived in the bumper when Lisa O'Neill partnered Invincible Cave to victory.
