Another winner for Keane

Young Meath jockey Colin Keane was in the winners' enclosure again at Dundalk last night. He completed a double at the track last week and was on board one of those winners, Knockgraffon Lad, again and recorded a third victory in-a-row for trainer Michael Byrne. Colin Keane, a son of trainer Gerry, got Knockgraffon Lad between horses to get to the front inside the final furlong. Bohermeen jockey Johnny Murtagh recorded a double with Sindjara for John Oxx and on the Liam Roche-trained Billyford which was off the track for three years until returning at Dundalk last September. Prior to that Billyford ran in the Group 3 Jersey Stakes at Royal Ascot and had previously beaten Ebor winner Dirar. Dunshaughlin handler Edward Lynam was also on the mark with Westtower Boy.
