Carberry returns with a win

Paul Carberry and Muirhead were edged out at Naas yesterday.
Paul Carberry returned to action at Naas yesterday after his lengthy ban incurred arising out of a failed breath test at the Kildare track before Christmas.
And on it was a case of third time lucky for the Meath jockey as he got off the mark for his boss Noel Meade.
Carberry's third ride of the day produced a winner in the form of the improving Oscar Looby in a grade two novice chase. The Ten Up Chase at Navan next month is the likely target for Oscar Looby.
Meade was disappointed that his 4/7 shot Muirhead was short-headed in the listed Limestone Lad Hurdle by the unpredictable Ebadiyan trained by Oliver Brady.
The Monaghan trainer indicated that Ebadiyan, which ran out at Cheltenham last year, could go for the Champion Hurdle now where he will face Meade's £1,000,000 baby Go Native which will be aiming for the big bonus from the sponsors of that race.
Brady confirmed that Ebadiyan has other options at Cheltenham, the World Hurdle and Coral Cup.
Dean Hill, Navan trainer Oliver Finnegan played a part in the victory of Mighty Bob for handler Gerry Farrell who is based at The Brock Inn, The Ward.
Mighty Bob is the only horse Farrell has in training at the moment and he made all to follow up on his victory at the track in December. Farrell uses Finnegan's gallops to keep Mighty Bob in tune.
