Navan double for Roger

Meath jockey Roger Loughran was in double form at his local track yesterday. Loughran and trainer Dessie Hughes enjoyed a good afternoon when recording a double after Sarteano landed the Kells Beginners Chase. The duo also won the Drogheda Handicap Hurdle with Mr Duffy which got a bit close to rival Visit Wexford at the second last, but the Stewards made no alteration. Meath trainer Tony Martin also maintained his good recent form when Meath GAA team sponsor Seamus Ross (Menolly Homes) saw his Reisk Superman win the feature race, the Le Grande Chase from Emotinal Article. "He won well in the end, but we have nothing really in mind for him at the moment," stated the trainer.
