Gold for caoimhe at seapoint

Talented young Black Bush golfer Caoimhe O'Grady (23) shot a super 38 points to take home the gold medal for the first time at the 2015 ILGU Junior Medal final at Seapoint yesterday.


Irene Poynton (ILGU) presented the gold medal to Caoimhe with her parents Regina and Shane and another sister, Niamh on a proud day for the family.

The silver medal went to Ellen O'Gorman (7) from Milltown with 38 points while the the bronze went to Rebecca Greevy (23) from Bray with 37 points.

The gross winner on the day was Katie O'Hart (9) from Arklow with 25 gross points.

Overall third went to Amy Rafferty (22) from Dundalk with 37 points while Shona Hendrick (26) from Tuam finished in fourth also with 37 points (on back nine from Sinead Lohan - Portumna).
