No Home joy for Irish

Ireland and Headfort golfer Rory McNamara had to settle for second place in the Home International golf tournament at the Gailes Golf Club near Glasgow. The Irish team were in a strong position going into the final day (Friday). However a 9.5 to 5.5 defeat to England and a big win by Scotland over Wales resulted in the home side taking the title and denying Ireland the title for the first time since 2008.
