Who do we want in the qualifier first round?

Meath crashed out of the Leinster SFC at the first hurdle this afternoon when they lost to Longford by two points.

Longford took the spoils as they won by 0-16 to 0-14 as Meath finished with 14 men following the second-half dismissal of Shane McEntee.
The teams were level at half-time 0-7 apiece.

Meath will now go into the first round qualifiers with that draw scheduled for tomorrow on Morning Ireland RTE Radio 1 just after 8.30am and also carried live on gaa.ie

This first round draw involves all of those teams who have been beaten and failed to reach their Provincial semi-final.

The match venues and times will be confirmed by the CCCC on Tuesday afternoon with the fixtures scheduled for weekend of Saturday 9th June / Sunday 10th June. All matches will be required to finish on the day under the new Championship protocols.

The First team drawn in each tie will have home advantage with the exception: a Div 3 or Div 4 team from the current year's NFL drawn against a Div 1 or 2 team will have home advantage
