O'Mahonys cruise to SFC victory

Navan O'Mahonys were in totally dominant form as they inflicted a heavy 4-14 to 1-7 on understrength Na Fianna at Trim this afternoon.

Goals early and late in the opening half from Cormac McGuinness and Dylan Regan boosted the 2014 and 2015 champions to a 2-6 to 0-4 interval lead.

Within a minute of the restart O'Mahonys put the issue beyond doubt when half-time sub Cathal Smith fisted to the net.

After trading a few points Na Fianna were then reduced to 14 players when James Geagan picked up two yellow cards in quick succession in the 50th minute and moments later Robbie Keeleghan blasted a brilliant fourth goal to ensure a comfortable afternoon for Kevin Reilly's charges.
