Who will take the Keegan Cup home on Sunday evening?

Huge crowds expected for SFC final

The Blue Riband event on the Meath GAA calander will take place on Sunday afternoon with defending champions Simonstown Gaels set to face Summerhill in the SFC final at Pairc Tailteann and already ticket sales are moving well.

According to Meath PRO Martin O'Halloran the sale of tickets for Sunday's big game has been brisk and he is expecting another big crowd at Pairc Tailteann. O'Halloran is urging supporters to buy their tickets early and arrive at the venue in plenty of time.

"We had a crowd of close to 6,000 for last year's final and we would expect to emulate that figure again this year. The early indications are that ticket sales are going well and we would urge patrons to buy their tickets early to avoid congestion at the gates on the day of the game," said the Meath PRO.

"Supporters are advised to use the car parks at the Commons Road end of the grounds as well as the car park in Navan O'Mahonys on Brews Hill. There are also other car park in the town and fans are urged not to cause an obstruction when parking.

"We will also be producing another bumper 64-page souvenir programme for the big game. We hope everyone enjoys the game, it is sure to be a magnificent occasion," concluded O'Halloran.

Tickets are available from Jack Kiernan's Shop in Navan, from all participating Centra and SuperValu shops and online at gaa.ie/tickets.
Admission for adults will be €15, OAPs and students (with appropriate ID) will be €10.

The Meath Chronicle will be doing a Facebook Live before and after the SFC final from Pairc Tailteann from 2.30pm on Sunday and will be providing regular updates on twitter (@meathsports).
