LADIES GAA: Meath v Tyrone in Dunboyne

Meath as they opened their Ladies Aisling McGing All-Ireland u-21 FC campaign with victory over Offaly by 3-11 to 1-11 last Sunday afternoon and they will face Tyrone in the second round this Sunday in Dunboyne at 1.30pm.

Last weekend Meath battled well against the wind in the first-half before a strong Offaly burst moved them 0-8 to 0-2 clear. 

However, inspired by Vikki Wall and Niamh Gallogly Meath closed to 0-5 to 0-8 by half-time.

After the break Offaly were boosted by a goal to stretch their lead to six points, but Meath found the net through Wall, Ellie O'Neill and Kelly Harris.
