O'Mahonys in knock-out mode
Navan O'Mahonys manager Tomas O Flaharta saw his team win again as the knock-out phase of the SFC began in earnest.
O'Mahonys continued on their winning ways in the race for the Keegan Cuop when they negotiated Na Fianna at Trim yesterday by 1-20 to 1-13.
O'Mahonys needed extra-time to get through this preliminary quarter-final after the regulation time finished at 1-13 apiece.
The teams were level at 0-6 each at the interval, but Dylan Regan's goal gave O'Mahonys the perfect start to the second-half.
Although they needed the extra-time, they got through again, something they have made a habit of in recent outings.
The victory sets up a quarter-final tussle with Summerhill.
