Westmeath referee for Meath v Cork All-Ireland replay

John Dermody of Westmeath will officiate at Meath's All-Ireland Intermediate Championship Camogie final replay against Cork on Sunday 1st October.

The game be televised live on TG4 with the throw-in time now scheduled for 1.30pm instead of the original 2.30pm.

This is the first time that TG4 has televised an All-Ireland Intermediate Camogie final and the coverage will begin at 1.20pm to facilitate a brief build up.

The coverage will be presented by Micheál Ó Domhnaill and the final will also be streamed worldwide live online on the TG4 website www.tg4.ie

The sides played out a draw at Croke Park on Sunday 10th September with Meath denied a late Megan Thynne point by the referee's whiste in added time.

Meath will be aiming for their first Intermediate title and the chance to gain promotion to the Senior Championship in 2018.

The Referee for the fixture has now also been confirmed as John Dermody of Westmeath.
