Simonstown make it three from three in the SFC

Action from tonight's SFC clash between Simonstown and Seneschalstown

Simonstown made it three wins from three in the SFC as they cruised to a 3-13 to 1-10 victory over Seneschalstown at Castletown this evening.

The nine-point margin of defeat is harsh on Seneschalstown as they led by 0-5 to 0-2 in the 21st minute, but the concession of two goals before the break put them on the back foot as they trailed 0-6 to 2-5 at the interval.

After the resumption Seneschalstown gave themselves hope with a Bryan Clarke goal, but Simonstown nabbed a third goal  when Mark McCabe punched to the net and that put an end to the doubts as the champions marched on to victory.

Read next Tuesday evening's Meath Chronicle for full match report and reaction from winning manager Colm O'Rourke.
