TODAY'S GAME IN TULLAMORE

This will be the first time that Bord na Móna O’Connor Park, Tullamore has
hosted a Kildare-Meath championship clash since the 1987 Leinster semi-final.

Meath won that game by 0-15 to 0-7 in front of a crowd of 15,089 and went on to win the All-Ireland final.

Meath scored their highest Leinster championship points tally (27) against
Louth in the quarter-final earlier this month. Their previous highest was 25,
recorded against Carlow in 2008.
