All set to change in Junior football championships

With the Meath club football championships due for a later-than-usual start this year it has emerged that the draws for the JFC and the Junior B will have to be made again following a ruling from Leinster Council.

Apparently, both Leinster Council and the Rules Advisory Committee in Croke Park have issued advice to Meath Co Board and the original draws will not stand.

The original draws that were made on Monday 6th March were as follows

JFC
A - Clonard v Moynalty; Meath Hill v Drumconrath; Clann na nGael v Cortown.
B - Dunsany v St Brigid's; Moylagh v Carnaross; Kilmainhamwood v St Vincent's.
C - Summerhill v Wolfe Tones; Dunshaughlin v Seneschalstown; Skryne v Dunboyne.
JUNIOR B
A - Dunderry v Boardsmill; Slane v St Mary's; St Paul's v Kilbride.
B - Trim v Simonstown Gaels; Gaeil Colmcille v Dunboyne; Donaghmore / Ashbourne v Na Fianna.
C - St Patrick's v St Colmcille's; Walterstown v Nobber; Moynalvey v Navan O'Mahonys.

New draws will be made at the Co Board meeting in Kiltale on Monday 8th May.

The date for that meeting was also changed as it was originally scheduled for Wednesday 3rd May.
