James Toher returns to midfield for hurlers tomorrow

James Toher returns to midfield for the Meath hurlers in place of the injured Joey Keena for tomorrow's crucial NHL Div 2B game against Derry at Páirc Táilteann, 2pm.

Toher was on duty at midfield for the footballers last Sunday as they recorded a must-win victory against Derry in the NFL Div 2 in the second game at Páirc Táilteann after the hurlers had defeated Down.

In that game Joey Keena sustained a facial injury that will keep him on the sideline until after the league.

Meath footballers have a break this weekend and the hurlers have a break next weekend followed by two away games against Roscommon and Mayo so a win tomorrow will be a major boost towards making the final.

There is one other change, Neil Heffernan comes in for Kevin Keena.

Meath - Shane Mc Gann Kiltale; Sean Geraghty Kilskyre, Shane Whitty Blackhall Gaels, Cormac Reilly Navan O’Mahonys; Shane Brennan Kilmessan, Damien Healy Longwood, Keith Keoghan Killyon; Anthony Forde Kiltale, James Toher Trim; Sean Quigley Dunboyne, Cathal McCabe Kiltale, James Kelly Kiltale; Steven Clynch Kilmessan, Adam Gannon Killyon, Neil Heffernan Trim.
