Ratoath appoint McGinnis as new manager

The former manager of Skerries Harps Terry McGinnis will be in charge of the Ratoath senior football team for 2017. 

McGinnis, who is from Slaughtneil Co Derry, takes over from Fergal Power who had a very successful spell in charge. 

Power guided Ratoath to the Meath IFC title and also blazed a trail in Leinster helping his team to a provincial crown at intermediate level before the lost out in the All-Ireland semi-final. 

McGinnis helped Skerries Harps to attain Div 1 status in Dublin and he is understood to be a very innovative coach. 

Ratoath consolidated their place in the Meath senior ranks this year.
