Solid victory for Kilmessan

Kilmessan opened their SHC campaign with a solid performance against Navan O'Mahonys at Pairc Tailteann this evening where they won with plenty to spare by 4-17 to 0-15.

Kilmessan were ahead by 3-9 to 0-8 at the interval, but O'Mahonys matched them in the points department for most of the game.

However, the goals were crucial and they arrived from Stteven Clynch, Joey Keena and Malcolm Doyle in the opening half and a late one by Eoin Marsh. Darren Reilly scored 12 points.
