Have you seen the Christy Ring Cup?

Concern is mounting as to the wherabouts of the Christy Ring Cup.
Meath left Croke Park as 'champions' after lifting the trophy in the hurling decider against Antrim last Saturday.

The Royals left GAA HQ celebrating a one-point win courtesy of a calamitous scoreboard and refereeing error when in fact the match had ended all-square.

The GAA yesterday ordered the final to be replayed at Pairc Esler in Newry on Saturday but Meath have requested that it be played a week later at Croke Park in order to allow for 'appropriate preparation'.

Antrim have yet to respond to Meath's request but now further controversy has emerged in the wake of news the Cup has gone missing.

Reports within the county suggesting that in the midst of Meath hurlers victory celebrations the wherabouts of the pot has become unclear with various sightings reported around the county.

One of the last sightings was in Stoney Burke's in Longwood, while another pic saw it located at the Hill of Down.
