Meath win Leinster MFL opener

Meath opened their Leinster MFL campaign on a winning note today with a 2-10 to 1-5 victory over Offaly in heavy conditions at Clonbullogue.


Meath were ahead by 1-2 to 0-3 at the interval with Eanna Mooney’s goal the crucial score.

Jason Scully's goal early in the second-half setteld the Royal County and they dictated the remainder for an impressive victory.


Manager Barry Callaghan and his selectors Paddy Reynolds and Darren Fay will have another outing next weekend against Longford.
