Meath players in for Shinty hurling V Scotland

The three Meath players who featured in the first game away have retained their places in the Irish Hurling/Shinty senior team squad for the second test with Scotland on Saturday 21st November at Croke Park in the curtainraiser to the International Ruels game (Ireland v Australia).

Mickey Burke, Damien Healy and James Toher will be joined by 2015 GAA/GPA Opel All-Star Hurler of the Year TJ Reid in the panel of eighteen.

Managers Jeffrey Lynskey (Galway) and Gregory O’Kane (Antrim) will be keen for a reversal of fortunes following the defeat (2-8 to 3-15) in Inverness last month

The second game in the 2015 Senior Hurling/Shinty International Series is a stand-alone game, a change from last year’s two-legged aggregate format, and will throw-in in Croke Park at 4.35pm prior to the EirGrid International Rules game between Ireland and Australia (7pm).

Tickets for the game priced at €25 for adults and €5 for juveniles. Tickets are available on GAA.ie/tickets and from selected SuperValu and Centra stores nationwide.

Live coverage of the Hurling/Shinty international will be broadcast on RTÉ2 from 4.25pm.
