Another early exit for O'Mahonys

There was no joy for Navan O'Mahonys today when they travelled to Pearse Park, Longford to tackle Killoe in the Leinster Club SFC as the Meath side made another tame exit at the first hurdle when they were edged out by the hosts by two points.

Killoe won the game by 0-11 to 1-6 and O'Mahonys missed an opportunity to tie the scores before Killoe added a late point.

A goal from Ruairi O Coileain gave O'Mahonys a 1-3 to 0-4 interval advantage but they were out-scored in the second-half.

There was a Meath success though as Andy McEntee's Ballyboden St Enda's survived a stern test in Drogheda against St Patrick's to win by 1-8 to 0-7.

McEntee's men will face St Loman's in the last four following the Westmeath side's seven-point win over Rathnew (2-10 to 1-6) in Mullingar.
