Another shock result at athboy

Friday night in Athboy seems to be the place for shocks in the Meath club championships. Last week Ballinlough shocked Navan O'Mahonys in the SFC and last night Boardsmill sent Kilmessan crashing out of the SHC with a shock 3-11 to 2-12 victory.

Boardsmill trailed by 1-7 to 2-6 at the interval with the goal from Cahrlie Bird's penalty. Second-half Boardsmill goals from Stephen Gibbons and Sean Dixon set David Troy's side on the road to victory.

In other results last night, Trim and Killyon both won.

The action continues this evening with the big game in Navan featureing Kiltale against Dunboyne at 7pm.
