Primary schools finals focus

There was plenty of action at Trim GAA centre yesterday with the finals of the Meath Primary Schools Hurling and Camogie competitions producing some excellent team and individual performances.

St Michael's of Trim took the trophy in the top hurling decider when they finished with a flourish to defeat Kildalkey by 0-10 to 0-5 in an excellent game where the teams were on level terms on five occasions.

Dunboyne too the Div 1 Hurling Shield final while in Div 2 Kilmessan took the spoils with Killyon best in Div 3 and Wilkinstown successful in Div 4.

Cannistown took the Div 1 Camogie title with Baconstown best in Div 2 and Boyerstown in Div 3.

Div 1 Shield - Dunboyne Senior 3-4, Gaelscoil na Boinne 1-0

Div 2 - Kilmessan 4-10, Dangan 1-4

Div 3 - Killyon 5-6, Kill 2-2

Div 4 - Wilkinstown 4-2, Robinstown 2-3

CANOGIE

Div 1 - Cannistown 3-0, St Mary's, Trim 0-0.

Div 2 - Baconstown 4-5, Kilmessan 2-4

Div 3 - Boyerstown 7-5, Moylagh 0-1
