Seneschalstown fundraiser for feile bid
This year’s Féile for U-14 footballers all across Ireland takes place on the last weekend of June and thanks to their victory in the Meath Division 2 Féile Seneschalstown’s young footballers are off to Bunclody to take part.
This is a massive occasion for all involved and indeed for the wider club as we haven’t had a side qualify for Féile since 1987 when they were hosted by the Tullamore club from May 8-10.
This is a very talented group of players who having won the Meath Féile back in February are now looking forward to their trip to Wexford in June. The team will be based in Bunclody and will have three group games against Duffy Rovers (home of the famed Fitzhenry family including former Wexford hurling goalkeeper Damien), Clonaslee St. Manmans from Laois (home of Darren Rooney who won a Leinster Championship with Laois in 2003) and the host club HWH Bunclody (home of two current Wexford Players of the Year).
In order to affray the costs of going to Féile the side are hosting “Come Dine With Me” and Auction Night in our clubhouse in Fr. Tully Park on Sunday evening. Events throw in at 18:45 when all panellists wait on the tables with any additional tables being waited on by the side’s mentors.
Then at 21:00 our auction will commence with items such as a week’s holiday in a 4 bedroom holiday home in Downings Co. Donegal in the first week of July, a weekend break in a Cork B&B and also a wheelie bin for a year courtesy of Tag-A-Bin Skip Hire. As well as those three items there are many more including other sporting memorabilia.
The closing dates for the items in the auction last for much of June with the last item closing on June 21st while the three items detailed above all close on Sunday night at the auction in the clubhouse.
All support is welcome on the night to support this very promising group of young footballers in their quest to do well at the upcoming Féile.

5. Two premium Level Tickets Leinster Hurling Final: Close June 19th @ 21:00.
6. Signed Dundalk FC jersey: close off June 17th @ 21:00.
7. Signed Dublin Football Jersey: close off June 10th @ 21:00.
8. Two Nights B&B in Kinsale in Cork: Auction on Sunday night, Reserve €100.
9. Tag A Bin Skip: Auction on Sunday night: Reserve €200.
