Manager ennis looks to maintain winning start

Martin Ennis will be looking to maintain a winning start to his reign as Meath hurling manager when he leads his side out against Longford at Trim on Sunday, 2.0.
His side have already chalked up victories over St Patrick’s and Louth. Last week’s 7-18 to 2-8 win over the Wee County was little more than a training stint and Ennis will be hoping for a tougher test from Longford.
He has made only one change from the team that started the Louth game with Moylagh’s Willie McGrath replacing Adam Gannon. Kilmessan’s Seanie Doyle hit 3-1 against Louth and he’ll be hoping to crack home another goal or two against Longford.
The Meath team for the game against Longford on Sunday is: Charlie Bird; Karl Ennis, Shane Brennan, Anthony Donnelly; Ciaran Joyce, Colm Doyle, Sean McGrath; Ger Foley, Sean Heavey; Paddy Conneely, Padraig Keogh, Gary Kelly; Sean Doyle, Michael Dunne, Willie McGrath.
