St pats and killary have to meet again

St Patrick's and Killary Emmets will have to do it all over again after they ended all square at 2-9 in tonight's MFC Div 3 final for the Noel Curran Cup at Pairc Tailteann.

There was never much between the sides although the opening half was fairly slow-burning as St Part's took a 2-3 to 1-4 lead into the interval with goals from Aaron Kenna and Conor Tully.

Brian Carroll scored Killary's goal and they added another in the second-half through Daire Rowe (penalty - see video) and Rowe also sent over the equalising point in the fourth minute of added time from a free.

Overall, a draw was a fair result and the replay will be just as tight between two well-matched teams.

Venue and date to be announced by Meath GAA soon.
