Kiltale emerge winners in Trim showdown

Kiltale are on their way to the last four of the SHC after securing a 3-12 to 0-18 victory over Killyon at Trim this evening.

This was a well deserved win although as expected Kiltale had to work hard for the two points on offer.

Apart from two brief spells they were in front all the way with goals from Kevin Ryan, Jack Regan and Stephen Donoghue ensuring that they maintained their 100 per cent record in the championship so far.

The game never sparkled into the classic, the big crowd who showed up would have hoped for.

At the interval Kiltale led 2-5 to 0-9 and while Killyon managed to draw level at one stage in the second-half there was no stopping their opponents.

Ray Massey was in fine scoring form for Killyon helping himself to seven points, three from frees, two from 65s and two from play.

David Raleigh was also sharp in front of the posts for Killyon and he slotted over four points while Tom Raleigh and Calvin Ryan garnered two points apiece.

However Kiltale got the goals and the win.
