Meath officials set for busy weekend

Meath referees David Coldrick and Cormac Reilly (pictured) will be in charge of two big games at the weekend as the All-Ireland SFC hots up.

Reilly will be the man in the middle for the quarter-final encounter between Mayo v Cork on Sunday while Coldrick will be ensuring the rule of law is applied for the do-or-die qualifier between Monaghan and Kildare on Saturday. Both games are at Croke Park.

The Monaghan, Kildare encounter will be staged at 7.0 while the curtain-raiser is the Meath, Armagh clash which gets underway at 5.0.

Clare's Rory Hickey has been appointed to take the reins for the Meath game which will see Armagh manager Paul Grimley re-newing acquintances with some of the Royal County players who were involved when Seamus McEnaney was manager. Grimley was part of the Meath set up during McEnaney's reign.

The other All-Ireland quarter-final to be staged at headquarters on Sunday is the clash between Galway and Kerry and Laois man Eddie Kinsella will be in charge of that encounter.
