Meath Coaching Officer Eamonn Barry will continue assessing players this Wednesday night at u-14 trails in Walterstown and Kells.

More regional u-14 trials this week

Some of the most promising Meath u-14 GAA players travelled to Trinity Gaels for a Leinster Blitz on Saturday as part of the overall development programme for young players. This was the first time that many of this panel had played together in an inter-county context and the results were promising.
Two squads, Meath Green and Meath Gold  were selected.
The first two games were against Westmeath A and Westmeath B and victories were achieved and that was followed by encouraging displays against Dublin selections.
The management team of Eamon Barry, Greg Carry and regional selectors Joe Treanor, Tom Doyle, Ciaran Byrne and David Courtney will continue to assess the players with further blitz competitions in the schedule.
